BACK TO DESIGN
SCHOOL WITHOUT

I chose analogous colors, oranges, browns, and reds… which are colors right next to each other on the color wheel. Kept it warm in feel.
While texture was NOT one fo those choices, I decided to use a mixed media format. This is actually the first time I’ve tried this style but most of the inspiration I had was in mixed media or abstract.
I chose a strong diagonal to show movement. I also decided to add the keyboard for the piano as one of the aspects of rhythm.
The letters, intentionally designed by taking a ransom letter look was in a way rhythmic too in it’s chaos.
This was an exercise honey... Took hours of sketching, hours of execution (even though I had an idea almost immediately when I saw the design constraints.) The execution is always the hardest.
